Danny Boy Dahlia Tuber

Danny Boy produces deep-purple 3”-4” ball form dahlia blooms with plum and deep-red flecks. Like most variegated (or flecked/striped) dahlias, it has slightly unstable genetics which are shown off in its delightfully random patterns - some evenly flecked, some half-and-half, and a few solid. This is a very good variegated, or flecked dahlias, partly because it is such a reliably strong, upright, plant, and also because it is so vigorous. Danny Boy makes an excellent cut flower with shipping durability and a long vase life. This dahlia was hybridized by dahlia hybridizers, Steve and Sandy Boley of Birch Bay Dahlias, and is part of our Legacy collection. This listing is for one (1) tuber. Plant height 40"-48".
